ApnaBill ("we", "us", "our") provides a free tool that lets residents of Pakistan look up and view duplicate utility bills (electricity, gas, water and phone) from publicly available provider systems. This policy explains what information we collect when you use apnabill.pk, why we collect it, and how it is handled.
We built ApnaBill to work without an account. You do not need to sign up, and we do not require your name, CNIC, email or phone number to check a bill.
2. Information we collect
Bill reference number: when you enter a reference/consumer number to look up a bill, it is sent to our server to retrieve the matching bill. We do not attach this number to your identity.
Language preference: your choice of English or Urdu is stored locally in your browser (local storage) so the site remembers it on your next visit. This never leaves your device.
Basic technical logs: like most websites, our hosting provider automatically logs standard request data (IP address, browser type, timestamps) for security and abuse prevention. We do not use this data for advertising or profiling.
3. What we don't do
We do not sell, rent or trade your data to third parties.
We do not run advertising trackers or third-party ad networks on ApnaBill.
We do not require or store your CNIC, home address, or payment details anywhere on this site.
4. Cookies & local storage
ApnaBill uses your browser's local storage only to remember your language preference (English/Urdu). We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics cookies.
5. Third-party links
Some pages link out to official utility provider websites (e.g. IESCO, LESCO, SNGPL) for reference. Those sites have their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review — ApnaBill is not responsible for their practices.
6. Data retention
Bill lookups are processed to return a result to you and are not permanently stored or linked to a personal profile on our servers.
7. Children's privacy
ApnaBill is a general-audience utility tool and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes to the service. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the latest revision.
